Flights to Krabi

Getting here is very easy by plane and flights to Krabi land at the International Airport, which has been open since 2000. flights to Krabi are available to and from an increasing number of destinations. It is a mere 15 minute drive from Krabi Town and takes only 25 minutes to drive to the National Park of Ao Nang. There are two separate passenger terminal buildings at the airport; domestic and international. As tourism continues to increase, Thai’s are preparing for and anticipating future growth over the next coming years and so tourists reap the benefits with international flights.

Getting flights to Krabi, you will be enthused to know that there are domestic flights from Phuket, Bangkok, Northern Chiang Mai and the South East island of Koh Samui. Transfers are quick and easy and there are a number of domestic flight airlines, which pass daily into the province. Nok Air, Thai Airways and Air Asia provide popular domestic flights; it’s worth checking in advance for any special offers.

Flying from Bangkok takes only 1 hour and 20 minutes, though it’s worth checking which airport you are flying from as there are two airports in Bangkok; Don Muang, which is usually where domestic fights fly from and Suvarnabhumi Airport; an international airport. There is a transport service by metro between the two airports in the capital of Bangkok, so travellers can move with ease between the two. There are planes connecting from Bangkok to Phuket every hour with flying time being about one hour. It’s a two hour taxi ride to Krabi from Phuket Airport, which is always an option if you don’t find direct flights to Krabi.
